CHAMPAGNE MARGARITAS

Fridays are always worth celebrating and there's nothing we love more than champagne and margaritas, although we never though to mix the two, until now! Read on for a Happy Hour worthy recipe you can easily make this evening!

The below recipe serves approximately eight cocktails. You're going to need:
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 lime cut in thin slices for garnish on the rim
- 1 cup Cointreau
- 1 cup tequila
- 1 bottle Champagne (or Prosecco!)
- Salt for the rim
- 1 pitcher
- 1 dish for the salt
In your pitcher, combine the fresh lime juice, tequila, and Cointreau and stick it in the fridge for approximately an hour to chill. Or, just add ice if you're looking to be speedy! We won't judge. We recently discovered adding ice to our champagne and wine and we're not sorry. Anyway, your next step is to pour some of your salt into a dish and get your champagne glasses ready. Rub one of your limes on the rim of a champagne glass and dip it upside down in the salt dish to coat the rim, then put your glass right side up when done. Pour approximately three ounces of your tequila mixture from your pitcher into your glass. Fill the rest of your glass with champagne, add a lime slice for garnish on the rim, and enjoy! Cheers to the weekend!
